What are the main causes of  Furnace Problems?

If your furnace has stopped working, or it isn't heating your home as it should, there could be multiple underlying issues that should be addressed immediately. Moore Heating will run a 21-point inspection to make sure that the problem is detected and remedied.

FORCED-AIR FURNACES

  • Many homes run on a forced-air furnace, which operates by forcing air through the furnace with a blower. The blower will be inspected to make sure it is functioning properly.

WE TAKE THESE STEPS TO PREEMPT COMMON FURNACE ISSUES

  • The heat exchanger cracks. Inspection of the heat exchanger will be performed.
  • Air flow may be blocked or congested. Ducts will be checked.
  • Safety checks of control limits, igniter, sensor, hot surface igniter, and flame rollout switches.
  • Check the gas pressure.
We always recommend our 15-5 agreement for those who have furnaces to heat their homes. Our 15-5 preventative maintenance agreement guarantees priority emergency service to you, as well as discounts on parts and labor.
